In the Spring of 2019 we announced to parents of students transitioning from the Island’s primary schools to Castle Rushen High School that we were intending to launch our Quest Curriculum in September 2019 with Year 7. That launch has now happened and students have taken part in several Quest lessons.
Quest involves a more cross-curricular approach than we have used in the past at CRHS. The reason for its use is to ensure a greater continuity of learning from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3 and to develop subject specific understanding through the cross-curricular approach alongside a greater focus on the development of the 6R skills.
