Care, Quality, Opportunity

We were delighted to welcome Phil Matthews from the One World Centre last week. Phil was in to congratulate the entrants and winners of the recent “A Better World” poetry writing completion, for which Key Stage 3 students were invited to write about some of the positive things they have experienced or learned about from their time in lockdown.

The following students entered the competition and produced some beautiful pieces:

Laoise Williams

Umata Pugeva

Gypsy-mae Quirk

Eugenie Woodhead

Brianna Elvin

Neve Moyer

Harry Meakin

The following students entered the competition and won:

Siena Payne

Ffion Holder

Kelly-Marie Cain

You can read all the poems here - A Better World Poems

Phil was extremely complementary about our students, and the level at which they engage with the One World Centre projects. Congratulations and keep up the hard work!
