Castle Rushen High School

Care • Quality • Opportunity

After a two week break, we are ready to kick start the new term with all of our students on Monday morning. Please find attached the latest newsletter. We ask that you take the time to read through it with your child to ensure they feel motivated, but not overwhelmed. Our teachers are working really hard to find ways to support remote learning. They are updating and improving things all the time, so please make sure you encourage your child to check their email as resources are more targeted and personalised than the ones we put together initially.

Please remember that while your child’s learning is very important to us, so is their wellbeing. We hope you found the items on mental health and wellbeing which we sent last week helpful. Under normal circumstances, we structure the day for our young people and enable them to socialise, stay active and take breaks. They will need your help to arrive at a sensible balance between learning and other activities, in a way that fits with your home circumstances.

We are encouraging students to email their teacher or tutor if they get stuck or are worried. Should you have any comments or concerns, please email CRHSEnquiries@sch.im as usual and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Have a good week, everyone.
