We were delighted to welcome our students to school to receive their A-Level and GCSE results over the past week.
This year proved to be a good year at A-Level, with an excellent 40 students out of 44 who applied to university securing their first choice – including one who is heading to Cambridge.
Fifty percent of A-Level results achieved A*-B grades, whilst 78% of results were A*-C grades.
At GCSE, 61% of students achieved 5 or more A*-C grades or equivalents (Level 2 passes), including English and Maths. 73.3% of results were Level 2 passes.
Of course, exam results are only one part of the story. This has also been an occasion to take stock, celebrate our students’ personal successes and support all of them on their chosen pathway.
We congratulate all our GCSE and A-Level students on their achievements.
