Care • Quality • Opportunity

Our sixth form charity ambassadors have been considering the most appropriate charity for all of our fundraising this year to focus on. They became aware of Cruse Bereavement Support IOM and the positive impact it has on many people in our community due to a great piece which appeared on the BBC for Children in Need a few weeks back. This piece featured one of our own students, Millie in Year 11, explaining how helpful this charity has been for her and other young people experiencing grief. You can see Millie’s piece here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy7eml222jeo

Cruse helps by offering a neutral person to offer support to anyone who has experienced loss, helping them to understand and explore their grief through in-person therapy. Further information is available here: https://www.cruse.org.im/

We are very proud of Millie for sharing her story and grateful for the vital work carried out by Cruse Bereavement Support Isle of Man.
