Care, Quality, Opportunity

While it's already 2024 (seriously, where did 2023 go?), the whirlwind of last term kept us from sharing the fantastic festive initiatives our students were part of. Better late than never, here's a brief recap!

Southern Befrienders Christmas Party

On Thursday, November 30, a group of Year 12 students participated in the Southern Befrienders Christmas party, contributing to the intergenerational program as part of their Enrichment option. Noah and Brianna set the tone with delightful renditions of Christmas classics, showcasing their musical talents on the French horn and guitar. Holly and Kathryne captivated the audience with a splendid reading of 'Night before Christmas,' while Laoise, Siena, Ffion, and Phoebe delivered an entertaining performance of 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.'

Delivering Festive Spirit to the Children's Ward

On Thursday 21 December KS5 students delivered 30 handmade craft boxes to the Children’s Ward at Nobles Hospital in their final charity event of the year. These were distributed to any child or young person who had to spend Christmas in hospital. They have been raising lots of money and lots of awareness this year. We are very proud of the way our students are contributing to the local community.

Supporting the IOM Foodbank

We rallied our staff and students to contribute to a product drive for the IOM Foodbank, and the response was nothing short of amazing. The picture below shows the sheer generosity reflected in the substantial amount of food we collectively donated to this deserving charity!
