After their heroic efforts in Tough Mucka 2024, students across Year 11 and KS5 have worked to fundraise for Isle Listen this year.
Isle Listen works closely with students within our school community and therefore students jumped at the opportunity to further support the hard work and care they provide. Across the academic year, students have hosted the Year 7 Disco, a PJ Day, bake sales and notably provided refreshments at both the annual Christmas Concert and school musical, Sister Act. Students even participated in a Fun Run as part of their Senior Games lessons, which offered some questionable fancy dress from staff and students alike. All of these opportunities to work together to support a local charity have further developed their 'head, heart & hands'.
In total, students managed to raise a fantastic £2,391.30.
In addition to this, we have two of our Year 13 students, Ned and Corbin taking part in the Dublin Marathon in October in aid of Isle Listen.
