Freya Takes Gold at Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in South Africa

Congratulations to Freya who recently represented the Isle of Man at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Sun City, South Africa. Having competed in two events, Freya won gold in Bench Only, then four bronzes in Full Power. Not only this, but she achieved 3 new personal bests and three Manx National Records. As a team they returned to the island with a total of 21 medals. Well done Freya for a fantastic performance. We look forward to seeing you representing the island in future international events!
